The Indian Air Force (IAF) conducts the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) for the recruitment of eligible candidates into the Flying Branch, Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branch, and Ground Duty (Technical) Branch. The candidates that wish to apply for the AFCAT Ground Duty (Technical Branch) will have to appear for both the AFCAT online examination and the Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT). Whereas, the candidates planning to appear for the Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branch will have to give only the AFCAT exam.
